with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
At Saint George Hyperbarics, we help patients recover, heal, and perform at their best—especially when conventional treatments haven’t delivered results.
Our clinic focuses on off-label uses of HBOT—applications not yet FDA-approved but supported by growing research and clinical outcomes.
We work with patients managing chronic illness, inflammation, neurologic conditions, immune dysfunction, and recovery after trauma or surgery.
We work with patients managing a wide variety of chronic health concerns. HBOT is often used as part of a functional or integrative treatment plan.
Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis)
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)
Mold toxicity / CIRS
Chemical/environmental sensitivities
Chronic viral or bacterial infections
Post-concussion syndrome / TBI
Stroke recovery (ischemic or hemorrhagic)
Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Migraines and chronic headaches
PTSD, anxiety, depression
Anoxic brain injury (e.g., near drowning)
Cerebral hypoxia
Tinnitus
Long COVID
Post-viral fatigue
Post-surgery healing
General immune support and detoxification
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has both FDA-approved (on-label) uses and non-FDA approved (off-label) uses. Hospitals typically treat the on-label indications.
At Saint George Hyperbarics, we focus on off-label, research-supported applications of HBOT to help people with chronic, inflammatory, or neurologic conditions.
On-Label Indications for HBOT are treated in hospitals.
On-Label Indications are the 14 conditions officially approved by the FDA for hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Most are emergency or acute cases—such as carbon monoxide poisoning or decompression sickness—that are treated in hospitals with full medical support.
Air or gas embolism
Carbon monoxide poisoning (including smoke inhalation)
Clostridial myositis and myonecrosis (gas gangrene)
Crush injury, compartment syndrome, and other acute traumatic ischemias
Decompression sickness (the bends)
Arterial insufficiencies (e.g., central retinal artery occlusion, diabetic foot ulcers)
Severe anemia (when transfusion isn’t possible)
Intracranial abscess
Necrotizing soft tissue infections (e.g., necrotizing fasciitis)
Refractory osteomyelitis (chronic bone infection)
Delayed radiation injuries (soft tissue or bone necrosis)
Compromised skin grafts or flaps
Severe burns
Sudden sensorineural hearing loss
⚠️ Please Note: We do not treat these conditions at our clinic. If you need care for an on-label condition, we’ll refer you to a local hospital-based hyperbaric unit that is better equipped to handle acute cases and insurance billing.
At Saint George Hyperbarics, we specialize in off-label uses of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which are not yet FDA-approved but supported by growing research and clinical success. These applications often involve chronic inflammation, neurological issues, immune dysfunction, or recovery from trauma.
HBOT works as a metabolic therapy, supporting the body at the cellular level by:
Delivering more oxygen to areas with poor circulation
Decreasing inflammation throughout the body
Improving mitochondrial function (energy production)
Stimulating new blood vessel growth
Activating the body’s stem cells and immune responses
✅ We are a cash-based HBOT clinic and accept HSA/FSA. No referral is needed to start treatment.
Not all hyperbaric oxygen therapy is the same.
Our chambers are USA-made steel units capable of delivering pressures up to 3.0 ATA—far beyond what soft-sided or “mild” HBOT chambers can do.
Most healing effects studied in the literature occur at 1.5 ATA or higher, while soft chambers only reach ~1.3 ATA and use ambient air instead of medical-grade oxygen.
Our chambers meet the highest safety standards:
FDA-cleared
Built to ASME and PVHO-1 (submarine-grade) specifications
Our clinic is operated by certified providers and technicians, trained through the International Board of Undersea Medicine, with oversight from a dedicated Safety Director.
You’re in qualified, capable hands.
HBOT isn’t a cure-all.
But if you’re struggling with symptoms that won’t go away—especially fatigue, pain, brain fog, or slow recovery—it might be the missing piece.
We start with a New Patient Consultation to understand your history, goals, and determine if HBOT is a good fit.
There’s no pressure—just answers.
